Sofia truly believes in “anti-diet” nutrition. This belief is often conveyed to those seeking wellness advice.  Her mission is to teach others that everyone is capable of health and happiness. She'll help you make small lifestyle changes to incorporate consistent exercise and wholesome, nutrient-dense foods into your everyday life. As an evidenced-based practitioner, she uses research to guide her coaching and understands that “no one size fits all”, and that there are many pieces to the puzzle. Managing a busy schedule just like all of her clients, she approaches lifestyle coaching in a semi-homemade, 5-minutes per day kind of way, reassuring her clients that anyone can make behavior changes and reach their greatest potential.

As a Registered Dietitian and Fitness Coach, Sofia enjoys motivating her clients and sharing her passion for nutrition and fitness. She has a Master’s degree in Nutritional Science and a Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology, Exercise Science. Her "anti-diet" nutrition beliefs stem from her research on disordered eating behaviors in collegiate athletes and experience working in the nutrition and fitness space, primarily with clients that want to lose weight.

Sofia also works as a Clinical Dietitian at John Muir Health and enjoys working in pediatrics, critical care, and helping individuals manage chronic conditions such as diabetes, cardiovascular disease, and kidney disease. Sofia is a certified nutrition support specialist (CNSC) and also specializes in medical nutrition therapy, weight management, meal and fitness planning, and blood sugar balancing nutrition.  Food truly is medicine, and Sofia is here to show you how!
